Heather Butterworth graduated Gray's School of Art with a textile design degree in 1990 and returned home to Lewis and set up a workshop designing, developing and manufacturing with the local material "Harris Tweed", designing bright colourful bags, cushions, tea cosies, accessories etc. with applique features, appealing to both young and old alike.
